Obesity: Improving Health Outcomes

The number of problems I face everyday overwhelm me when I investigate the health problems and the people I care about for my project. I narrowed the search scope to obesity, and what I would like to pay attention to is a teenager. In 2010, healthy people identified overweight and obesity as one of the top ten health indexes that require serious attention. Worldwide obesity has reached a level of trends; it poses a major threat to the health of our country. The adolescent obesity rate has doubled since adult obesity doubled since the 1980s and has increased more than threefold (Trust for America's Health, 2011a).

The health hazards of existing populations over obesity are well supported by available evidence, but the health outcome of several subgroups appears to improve as BMI increases and as an obesity survival paradox Are known. The paradox was first described in hemodialysis of overweight and obese people in 1999 and was later discovered in patients with heart failure and peripheral arterial disease (PAD). In heart failure patients, the mortality rate for people with a body mass index between 30.0 and 34.9 is lower than the normal weight mortality rate. This is due to the fact that people often lose weight as they get sick. Similar findings have been found for other types of heart disease. People suffering from grade I obesity and heart disease have no heart problem than those of normal weight who suffer from heart disease.

The United States is facing the crisis of obesity. 36.5% of adults are obese, and this number is still increasing. A black American adult quickly approached 50% of obesity. Obesity leads to other health-related problems such as heart disease and diabetes. All of these will lead to an increase in per capita cost, especially in the private insurance market. As a result, not only are millions of Americans facing serious economic challenges, they also face health problems over other developed countries. Recognizing that these struggles are complementary is not a big leap. Those who are stubbornly diseased can not check the doctor and can not miss the job, so you can check it out. Some people can not purchase insurance at ACA exchanges due to low payment costs to the government. Fortunately, the sunshine of next year will disappear. However, even if the person is injured and there is no insurance, there is a fee to pay.
