Obedience: The Odyssey to Freedom

The term freedom is often associated with an unconstrained concept of freedom and adds the sense that from our series of choices our actions do not affect our natural state. Catholic doctrine tells us that the choice is a reasonable reflection and a voluntary conquest of higher powers. This is the law of nature. Milton envisioned the same teaching. Unfortunately, humankind applies only to assumptions about certain abstract concepts such as "Nature Law" which is the assumption of Milton's development in "lost paradise".

The Bible prove the necessity of freedom. Because no one can "obey freedom and can not believe" until he is released from the rule of sin. People have natural freedom, but their "voluntary choice" will help sin until they gain freedom from "sinful rule". The new Bible Dictionary considers this obedience and freedom of religion to be "free will" in theological sense. So, in Bible thinking it is necessary to gain freedom to be held in sin. "Follow the commandments of Jesus, I love God and I love your neighbor."

Therefore, in addition to regeneration, there is a higher life to follow the word of God and the life of the Holy Spirit. Certainly, a person can be born again and still be enslaved as a sin (Romans 6: 16). Only by obedience believers can gain God's grace to escape sin. In Christ we have freedom from sin, but our inner choice is truly free to walk. "Because sin is no longer your master, you are not under the law, but under grace because we are under grace, not under the law. Are you a slave of those you obey - whether you are a slave committing a crime, leading to justice by bringing about death or obeying, as a slave to sin, you are now your loyalty I followed the method of teaching.
