Nuclear Waste

Nuclear waste should be stored in Yucca Mountain. Nuclear waste is a radioactive material generated by nuclear reactors and it can maintain radioactivity for more than 100,000 years until it collapses. Since radioactive nuclear waste has dangerous radioactivity, the government has discussed permanent storage of nuclear waste for more than 30 years. Although many people do not like to store nuclear waste in Nevada, one of the places most likely to be used to process nuclear waste is the Yucca Mountains in Nevada.
