The article I write requires more examples, with more explanations / references on similarities and differences. Furthermore, the conclusion is too small. (I have a story if necessary)

Two stories, "American Country Life" by Caroline C. Richards and "Alliance Girl Diary" by Sara M. Dawson, were written during the Civil War. There are many similarities to these, but there are also some differences.

Both girls have a diary, it is how these stories are discovered and published. These diaries were talking about civil war, so they were written almost at the same time. After all, the two girls lost their loved ones whether it was a war, regardless of age or sickness.

Some of the differences are that Sarah always moves from a different location, but Caroline does not move.
