No Wasted Time

I remember that the adult novel of the first "serious literature" that was read without being compelled was "All Men of the King" by Robert Payne Warren. I am 14 years old and in my past 2 years all my reading consists of science fiction - I am eating this type of book everyday. Not all of this will be in vain, but the meals are a bit monotonous.
