Colonialism has had positive and negative impacts on the African continent from a social, political and economic point of view. Some positive social, economic and political influences include the introduction of Christianity, which brings more opportunities for religious mission. Most missionaries teach in Africa by educating local people and establishing missionary schools to help them learn more about their land and culture. Europeans protect their enemies or give them a weapon to allow them to defend themselves when they are attacked by enemies, so that some Africans feel more secure . Europeans brought new technology to Africa; they got agricultural tools and introduced new grains such as corn and cassava from the New World. They have built more infrastructure, including medical facilities, transportation and communication networks, schools, and mature farms for cultivating cash crops such as cocoa, coffee, tea, rubber, cotton and so on. Many Africans can learn the words of rulers of the colonial era such as English, French, Portuguese, which gives them superiority and can comfortably communicate in the present globalized world. Colonialism also made Africa's rich culture recognize the world, they used European culture, enriched natural and mineral resources, and introduced trade in international markets. A new product including household goods was introduced to Africa. More African employment was created, and some learned what supports the development of new trade, in particular the richness of Europe. To date, building a stronger and better institution for managing people in most countries
Some of the negative impact is that Africans are forced to work on plantations without compensation as a slave to the new world. On the continent of Africa, Europeans took land from Africans, planted farms to nurture cash crops, and forced people to work in these farms. African culture is diluted, tradition deprived, their lifestyle is destroyed. The introduction of Christianity has destroyed traditional African religions and people have learned their languages and taught how to eat European food and clothes such as Europeans and teach traditional eating habits, clothing methods and addictions I abandoned the spread of disease. This family was torn up by division in Africa and created a new border that led to current conflict and slave trade of millions of people away from home and home. Europeans are taking the majority of their resources, especially primary products of gold, diamonds, ivory and agriculture. This never gave Africans the opportunity to learn how to use their resources to promote development. After all, the Africans merely occupied the disadvantage of the colonial government and did not occupy the site within their own government. People employed by the colonial government are more proud and excelent than others, and ultimately lead to colonial social inequality.
When the company is small, everyone does something, so the title is meaningless. My first title at Netscape was "Bitsifter". Of course there are several titles, but since they are convenient titles, external stakeholders can apply old title frames to team members during the conference. "Oh, I understand that you are the vice president of the product ... how impressive." The obvious agreement is that these titles are necessary to map to embarrassing external reality So, someone judges the ability from the title as soon as he sees the business card. This is ridiculous when you think about it - in fact, I will give you a business card called "VP", and you will soon jump out of the hypothesis: "Because his title is Vice President He should be very important. We should talk to him. " I know that this is the way many work works in the world, but it is this reasoning that makes the title toxic. They did not start toxic. They were originally designed to go along the way to growth.
The title parade will not end. Give the person the position of an executive or vice president, we will send a signal to the company that the position of the company is fair. Prepare for everyone in the company (they think they have prepared their title) and compete for the championship in subtle and immature ways. Your sales manager will want to receive VP promotion when closing new customers. Your product owner wants to become a vice president after launching attractive product features. The wonderful young marketers you hired a couple of months ago threatened to leave unless you let them become marketing director. Is this the way you spend as Chief Executive (CEO)?
