You often sit there and want to know unfamiliar territory outside the current territory you live in. The technology we have today is almost imaginative and you can browse various places in the world simply by clicking the mouse on your computer. However, this technology did not exist in the 19th century, and many people around the world wanted to know what other parts of the world would look like. A man named Nikolai Przhevalsky tried to find new and interesting things outside his mother country Russia.
The horse of Przewalski (Equus ferus przewalskii) is an unusual Asian animal named after Russian explorer Nikolai Przhevalsky. It is also known as the wild horse of Mongolia; the people of Mongolia know that it is a taki, and the people of Kyrgyz call it the Kiltag. Between 1969 and 1992, subspecies were considered extinct in the wild, and a small number of breeding stocks survived in zoos worldwide. In 1992, due to the protection efforts of many zoos, it was reestablished in the wild. Today there are a few wild populations in Mongolia. Zoos around the world still have other animals.
The discovery of this horse is a 19th century geographer who served as a Russian military officer by explorer Nikolai Pruzełwski. In 1878, when Przewalski returned from expedition to Central Asia, he received a gift from the skull of the horse and avoided senior officials. The widow was inspected at the Russian Academy of Sciences Zoo Museum in St. Petersburg and its guardian concluded that it was a wild horse formally named Equus przewalskii. Przewalski tried to search for takhi, but "like a storm they escaped and disappeared," Inge and Jan Bouman wrote in Przewalski's horse history and biology. . Takhi says, "I am very shy and have sharp olfactions, hearing, and vision, they keep the grassland of salt water and can survive for a long time without water."
There seems to be no agreement on this ancestral home of this horse. Tarpan or Equus Przhevalski discovered in the Gobi desert in recent years is said to be the true ancestor of modern horse. This animal was discovered by Russian soldier Przhevalski and brought to the United States and Britain for research. These horses are still discovered and captured in Asian grassland countries, but there is no evidence that they can domesticate. Modern horses are thought to have been born from not only Tarpan but also some wild species. Regardless of their exact origin and decent lines, they all flourish in Asia and spread to Europe. In Europe, the development of horses is the development of integration into civilization. This combination resulted in horse returning to North America after all.
