C. Mayor Ray Nagin has forced Hurricane Katrina to evacuate New Orleans and urged many residents to leave. To others, they have discovered that it is almost impossible, if not impossible, to leave because of lack of transportation, money or resources. After the destruction, individual citizens and their families were trapped in the convention center, super dome, and scattered around the Gulf. Even hospitals are prisons for patients and staff in disaster areas in New Orleans.
It is the earth. Hurricane Katrina is one of the most serious natural disasters ever. On Monday, 29 August 2005 (Osinski), Hurricane Katrina hit New Orleans with a strong wind and high water level. Water is rising so high that in New Orleans (Osinski) it is about 80% in water. The truly sad part of the whole situation is that New Orleans is prepared for this disaster. Many people think that Hurricane Katrina passes through the coast of New Orleans like many hurricanes.
Hurricane Katrina was one of the largest and most special disasters in New Orleans, USA. Dozens of people died in this disaster, and thousands of people lost their homes. After the extreme hurricane, the masses were shocked and recorded as losses of millions of dollars as there was not enough funds to repair all the losses. Hurricane Katrina had a great adverse effect on public health ... information on Hurricane Sandy. This is called "Super Storm Sandy" and there is no record. This is the most devastating hurricane in the 2012 Atlantic Hurricane season, the financial crisis caused by the second hurricane in American history. In 1953, the National Weather Service began to name storms as women. Indeed there are six named storms in the Atlantic Ocean.
New Orleans was influenced by Raymond B. Seed's "World's Worst Engineering Disaster since Chernobyl" when the Federal Embankment System ceased to function between Hurricane Katrina in 2005. By the time the hurricane hit the city at the end of August 2005, most of the inhabitants were evacuated. As the hurricane passed the Gulf, the federal flood control system of the city ceased to function, leading to the most serious civil disasters in American history. The flood embankment and the flood embankment constructed by the US Army Corps of Engineers did not meet design specifications and 80% of the city was flooded. Thousands of inhabitants were rescued or otherwise traveled to the last shelter of the Super Dome, Louisiana State, or the New Orleans Convention Center. While there were other missing people, more than 1,500 people were in Louisiana, most of them died in New Orleans.
