Junior high school means a new starting point, experience and challenge. These changes - new friends, new teachers, new school environment - may be exciting, but for new junior high school students it will be a bit uneasy.
Gwynne Campbell of Sylvan Learning Center in Darien says,
Mr. Campbell said that the first year of secondary school is particularly important for students.
