New laws on drunk driving are developed, discussed and adopted in the United States. In many states, especially for repetitive criminals, I am striving hard to make penalties for drunk driving more severe (Xavier). Drunk driving was at the forefront of discussion for decades. More strict law passed nationwide, accident of drunk driving decreased. However, the threat of new driving is rapidly being replaced. This threat sends a text message during driving. Many people actually say it is more dangerous than drunk driving. According to the National Highway and Transportation Administration (NHTSA) website distraction.org, barriers related to drunk driving and text messaging are similar during driving. Both of them lead to distracting and driving down, becoming too close to approach, and it will not be possible to brake on approaching traffic on time.
