I am an OG online learner - Jumpstart and Math Blaster PC games have long been a path to strengthening my childhood math ability. In 2009, I completed my 1 year high school course online. (This was established before industry leaders were often discussed by Udacity and Coursera.) I was a person looking to the Internet to learn anything. If you create a list of online learning industry leaders (Udacity, Coursera, etc.), you will lose a bit of content "Ready to learn". I am excited to learn data science at the cafe in the afternoon by promising an open (almost) free online classroom to all.
