Nellie McClung was very active in planning the event and participated in political activities from 1914 to 1926. NellieMcClung was born in Ontario in 1873. Her family moved to Manitoba in 1880, becoming a pioneering farmhouse. McLean is a pioneer teacher, writer, feminist, social reformer, lecturer and legislator. For her work, McClung moved to many parts of the western part including Manitou, Winnipeg, Edmonton, Calgary and Victoria. McLang is a practical and realistic leader who moves his speech to political behavior. As Manitou's young mother, McLean began working at the female Christian Control League (WCTU). She works with W.C.T.U. Encourage her to find the organization of the Winnipeg Political Equality Federation, the Canadian Commonwealth Women's Association, the Edmonton Women's Association.

One day in January 1914, a housewife in the prairie passed the door of Winnipeg Manitoba State Assembly and persuaded the government to allow women to vote. Her name is Nellie McClung. By the beginning of 1916, with the help of McClung, women in Manitoba will become the first Canadians to win votes. In 1890, in the Bible class of a young lady, she met Anne McLean later who called her "the only woman I have ever seen as a mother-in-law." Nellie and Wesley McClung are sending a strong and happy married life from the human point of view.
