When Neil Armstrong was two years old, he wanted to go to the airport to see the airplane take off and landing. He was very excited just to see him. When he was five, he pretended to be hovering in bed. He wants to fly! He liked an airplane and he was on the first plane when he was 6 years old. He was very smart at school, so I was a fifth grader and I was promoted from second grade to third grade. All the planes he read carried hands. He always likes to make model planes. When Neil attended high school, he worked in a chemistry laboratory. In the basement, he made a wind tunnel. On the roof of his garage, he built an observatory that had a telescope to observe the moon.

He took Apollo 10 after riding Gemini 11. Apollo 10 was launched from the cape of Kennedy and orbited the moon ten miles from the surface of the satellite. On 16th July 1969 Apollo 11 broke up with Neil Armstrong, Michael Collins and Edwin Aldrin. They landed on the moon on 20th July 1969! More than 600 million people were listening when they said that the eagle landed. They were asked to eat and take a rest. After the meal Apollo 11 staff could not wait to arrive at the moon. They asked Houston that they should go out early, Houston said it was in the UK. Everyone was wearing space suit with a portable life support system (PLSS) backpack. Using PLSS, everyone should be their own micro spaceship. When Neil Armstrong opened the hatch and entered the moon, he said: "This is a small step for men, a big leap for human beings." But his words sound a bit ambiguous, They did not listen When he told the man, everyone thought he said, "This is a small step for people, it's a big leap for human beings." More than 600 million people listen to ears I saw that I landed on the moon. For Neil Armstrong, this is a dream come true. He has achieved his goals and will always have places in history! When Neil Armstrong landed on Earth, he did not want people to do such a big deal with him. He wants to live a normal life with his family. Neil Armstrong background Neil Armstrong was born in Wapakoneta, Ohio in 1930. He served as a pilot during the Korean War. Shortly after graduating from Purdue University in 1955, Armstrong joined the National Aeronautics and Space Administration and later became known as the National Aviation Advisory Committee.
