Gender inequality has recently been emphasized as a sharp and sustainable issue. In the United States, this is mainly because women require women to work in the workplace. In most cases, they are trying to succeed in their career rather than men. "The discriminatory treatment in the labor market is what we call labor market discrimination" (Ehrenberg and Smith, 2012, p. 398). Gender discrimination against women in the market reduces the talent available at the workplace and adversely affects the country.
Gender discrimination in the workplace is unfair treatment of employee sex. This is an act of infringement of civil rights. There are various forms of sexism such as harassment, unequal wages, unequal occupational opportunities, discrimination during pregnancy, discrimination of recruitment, etc. Unfortunately, in most cases, even developed countries like the United States, women are subject to sex difference. However, in the United States and most other countries, laws are in place to protect victims by gender.
In today's modern society, gender discrimination in the workplace is a big problem. Sex discrimination occurs when a person is treated for work due to gender. This is a serious problem for developed countries, developing countries, LDC. There are several ways in which someone is discriminated in the workplace. Recruitment / dismissal, promotion, compensation, harassment and occupational classification are several ways by sex in the workplace. This issue is subject to debate worldwide. The law on gender discrimination in the workplace varies from country to country. However, there are still many cases of gender discrimination in the workplace. Despite strict legal restrictions, even developed countries like the United States can not eliminate this phenomenon from American society.
