Negative Consequences of Learning the Truth, in Hawthorn’s Young Goodman Brown and Chopin’s Desiree’s Baby

Whoever speaks the truth, you will be free, and you should not read Nathaniel Hawthorne and Kate Chopin's works. In Hawthorne's story "Young Goodman Brown" and Chopin's "Desiree's Baby", learning the truth is not liberation, but causes isolation and pain. It's too much to understand the truth. In "Young Goodman Brown" what Brown experienced in the forest with the Satan group, he discovered a part of his community and evil identity and withdrew from the community due to lack of trust.

Nathaniel Hawthorne's "Young Goodman Brown" is a wonderful short story from the 1800s. Throughout the story, Nathaniel Hawthorne uses the names of Young Goodman Brown and his wife Faith as a symbolic representative. That word? young? Goodman Brown's name gives you the image of an inexperienced, innocent boy who has to risk you rather than the ambience of his surroundings. His wife's faith tried to stop him saying "Please pray, postpone the journey to sunrise, and then go to bed in your own bed." I do not travel in the unknown darkness to gain wisdom but seek knowledge in the sunrise. Her fears are revealed with bright images and dark images. Use it? Did you understand. And? Man? Goodman Brown's name makes you wonder if the man is really good. My explanation is that Goodman Brown is not good at it because he is trapped by the temptation of the devil except baptism. It proves that even the best men are affected by imperfection
