NBC Village Memories

In May 2010, UWO graduates gathered to remember what lived in the halls of Nelson, Breeze and Clement. After that, the dorm was scheduled to be destroyed in the summer to make room for new buildings.

In the alumni association, we shared memories of encounters with our partners and many years of friends and gained valuable experience in living and work at the hall. They were asked to preserve these memories by putting something in the time capsule of NBC Village.

The new sweet style 'Horizon Village' dormitory, which is scheduled to be completed in 2012, will be reborn by renovation in this area. The new 5-storey building will provide 340 beds for 2nd, 3rd and 4th graders students.

The 2 bedroom and 4 bedroom suites have a shared living room, kitchenette, storage space, private full bathroom and private half bath.

Friends (1994-2004) for NBC's home comedy live in the village. Central Perk is located 1 block Mercer or Houston Street from Angelika Film Center, Phoebe lives on 5 Morton Street. The appearance of each apartment building of Chandler, Joey, Rachel, Monica is at the corner of Grove and Bedford Street of West Village. One of the main works of the show is Xicun's Huang Feihong. The village occupies a prominent position of the six seasons of the madman. In the first season, Don Draper suffered from the artist Midge Daniels who lived in the village. When the New York Historical Society offered an exhibition on the history of the village in 1997, New York's media focused on past villages. Black History Month of 2001, the city exhibited the Seneca Village Memorial Card in the playground near the entrance of the Sailor Gate at 85th Avenue and Central Park West. The Seneca Village Project, led by Cynthia Copland of Wall, South Rothschild, New York Historical Society of Columbia University, has been studying village since 2001. The financed work began with the collection of paper documents and began to excavate the area in 2011.
