The twentieth century is an era of change and difficulty that brought good and bad results that affected the whole world. Due to the difficulties brought about by the First World War, change is necessary to empower suspicious leaders. As a result, two different countries, Cambodia and Germany, experienced similar drastic reforms in the form of genocide. Both the Nazi regime and the Khmer Rouge government tried to establish these idealistic states under totalitarianism, but they merely committed an unforgettable atrocity.
The genocide system like the Nazis or the Khmer Rouge allowed the destruction of cultural relics. It was part of their behavior to eradicate everything, and everyone was considered unpopular. However, in recent years extremist Islamists claiming to eliminate idolatry are the most aggressive threats to ancient and historical sites. Prior to the September 11 attack, the Taliban received special shame. According to the order of the leader Mullah Omar, the organization destroyed the ancient Bamiyan Buddha with an explosive in March 2001. These statues have survived since the 4th century, and archaeologists in Afghanistan and the West were working in the surrounding area for years to document the history of Afghanistan.
The history of modern Cambodia I have read clearly shows that Khmer Rouge is the most violent regime in the history of the country. Or you are responsible for hunger. There are 2 million people in 3 years and the population is less than 9 million people. Other regimes governing Cambodia are cruel, but it is clear which is the worst. The village lady told me that the Khmer Rouge is the best in the area. I was shocked. This is inconsistent with what I have read and experienced in Cambodia. I should not be so shocked. During their dystopian agricultural revolution, the Khmer Rouge exercised power to rural people at the expense of urban people, and all other regimes cruelly oppressed farmers. It is perfectly understood that the experiences of these villagers and other people like them challenged the orthodox story
During the Khmer Rouge administration, the status of Cambodians in China was expressed as "the most serious disaster facing the Chinese community in Southeast Asia." Chinese Cambodians were slaughtered by the Khmer Rouge on the grounds that "people in Cambodia were used". The Chinese are stereotyped as traders and money lenders related to capitalism, and historically this group was dissatisfied with the difference in brightness and culture of skin color. In 1978, hundreds of Chinese families were rounded up, they were said to resettle but actually they would be executed. At the beginning of the Khmer Rouge government in 1975, there were 425,000 Chinese in Cambodia, but by the end of 1979 there were only 200,000. In addition, the Chinese are primarily urban dwellers and are vulnerable to the revolutionary ruralism of Khmer Rouge and evacuation of urban dwellers to farms.
