In this article, I will explain the importance of nature experience to environmental knowledge, value, and behavior. Recent German empirical studies analyze the importance of natural experiences, including research focus, innovative research contributions, and selected research results. Deficiencies and challenges in research will be identified. Proposals are proposed to improve nature experience research. This paper argues that nature's experience is the central foundation for the development of environment-related knowledge and value. Natural experiences are often proven to affect environmental behavior in daily circumstances, and the complexity of the work is low. However, advanced, de facto and ethical complexity constitutes a comprehensive challenge to education for sustainable development. It plays a role in developing evaluation and judgment skills, so natural experiences are also important in this regard.
Various forms of education contribute greatly to conservation of ecosystems and integration of natural resource management and energy conservation by raising awareness, knowledge, skills, values and behavioral goals. Many NGOs related to regional and global ecosystems are arranged to be useful for biodiversity education. Educators, television documentaries of botanical gardens, museums and other informal learning centers, and even the whole media have made a particularly important contribution. However, some of them are still limited to a narrow, naturally based approach to environmental education. Many energy producers have developed energy education programs that incorporate social and environmental problems into a broader curriculum on the importance of electrophysics, alternative energy and renewable energy, and energy conservation.
