National Education Standards

Current reforms and initiatives based on national educational standards focus on student achievement and teacher preparation. Educational researchers and curriculum designers are constantly discovering standards and requirements at the national level and how state and local boards of education give priority to advanced placement and cultural literacy rates. The 2000 legal legislation of the Clinton administration is the next act involved in the national standard. In 1994, the National Education Standards Evaluation Council received recommendations from the National Education Standards and Testing Committee report, but it was not established.
