Napoleon, who crossed the Alps, was also the title of Napoleon Bonaparte's 5 page oil portrait portrait painted by French painter Jacques-Rui David between 1801 and 1805. Originally commissioned by the French Ambassador of Spain this work shows a strong ideal view of the real passage of Napoleon and his army through the wonderful St. Bernard pass through the Alps in May 1800. Napoleon came to me in various ways. Jacques-Louis David is the creator of this painting.
Napoleon is an authoritative portrait of the Alps, like a portrait of many equestrians, a genre supported by the royal family. Napoleon was drawn as breeding Arabian stallion. Before he left him, we saw the mountain, and in the background it was largely hidden with rocks, and the French army moved along a big cannon and on this line I flew trio (flag of France) along. Invisible peak Bonaparte's gloveless left finger makes us possible to follow and a sense that it is far beyond soldiers in the distance. The arms are physically connected to the environment, reflecting the slope of the ridge, but the raised arms are common in David's work. Together with his cape line, these create a balanced series of diagonals with the right cloud. The overall effect is to stabilize the image of Napoleon
In the spring of 1800 Napoleon and his army went into Italy beyond the Swiss Alps to surprise the Austrian army's re-occupation of Napoleon in the Egyptian peninsula. After having trouble crossing the Alps, the French Army entered the plain in the northern part of Italy and was hardly opposed. When the French Army came from the north, the Austrians were busy placing another army in Genoa. And it was surrounded by great power. Under the guidance of André Masséna, due to the intense resistance of this French army, the Union was able to act for a certain period of time with little obstruction.
