Japan does not necessarily have the best economics. At the end of World War I, the demand for military products has disappeared. In 1929 the factory in Japan was closed and many people were unemployed. In the crisis of Japan, America is experiencing its own economic problems. When the stock market crashed in the US it also reduced the amount of American products purchased. It is difficult for Japan to provide food to everyone during the great famine caused by the stock market crash.

The Nanking Massacre, or Nanjing's rape, was massacre of Japanese residents of the People's Republic's capital of Nanjing at that time during the Second Sino-Japanese War and mass rape. In the postal romanization system used at that time, the name of the city was written as "Nanjing" and the incident was called Nanking Massacre or Nanjing Rape. The massacres were held for 6 weeks on December 13, 1937 when Japan occupied Nanking. Meanwhile, Japanese soldiers of the Imperial Army killed Chinese civilians, disarmed about 40,000 to 300,000 combatants, raped and robbed.
