How did the world start? Have you ever thought that this is likely to happen? Everyone has asked this question for hundreds of years. This explanation is called a myth. By observing what myths are, mythological categories, areas of major myths, some important features of the myths, and finally cultural similarities. This will start my paper, and finally, you will have a deeper understanding of the myth. Myth means research on myths.

So, what is myth? The word mythology comes from the Greek word "myth" and means a story. Therefore, myths are stories, but not all stories are myths. Then these stories constitute the myths of the world. Some say that "Myths never happen but always exist." This sentence is due to Roman historians of the 4th century and mysterious Sallustius. It explains the allegorical nature of myths and suggests that they are hiding behind their usual fairy tales and fanciful nature, hidden truth and higher meaning. What we are going to do in this chapter is to elucidate these high meanings behind the world myths and to better understand the true meaning of myths.

There are many myths in Norse mythology and Greek mythology, but these myths have similarities and differences. A very popular myth is Greek myth, and many people know at least it knows it. Another less popular myth is Norse mythology; Norse mythology is the religious belief of Northern European people.
