Myth - According to ritual theory, myths are related to rituals. In its most extreme form, this theory argues that myths appear in interpretative rituals. Smith initially proposed this idea, and he believed that people started performing rituals for reasons unrelated to myths. Forgot the original reasons of the ceremony, they invented the myth and explained it by insisting that the ceremony commemorates the events described in that myth. Fraser insisted that humans began to be filled with faith in magic ceremonies and then began to lose faith in magic, invented the myths about God, religion designed to appease their rituals to God I reinterpreted it as an ordinary ceremony.
Rituals are not always highly appreciated like myths. Many supporters of mythological theory believe that rituals are dependent, not myth but simply express the ideas that exist in myths. In this view, the fact that myths are formulated through rituals has little religious significance and people may not have it. Ivan Strenski noted that this depraved ritual is related to anti-Semitism, as the myth interpretation relates to Aryan racial discrimination.1 Judaism as a modern religion is a systematic theology Rite based on the results. The argument is that the ideas expressed in mythological stories are more important than the role of ceremonies, so Judaism is criticized for the focus of that ritual. Of course, even in Christian origins and in the criticism of the Falasa religion found in the New Testament, there is such an opposite precedent.

Mythological theory is often associated with ritual theory. Rituals are seen as developed or dramatic myths; they re-present the mythical drawn world, thereby providing a connection between the world and everyday life. It is certain that when a person is in ceremonial time and space, that person is out of normal time and space, but that ritual makes the religious field visible so that myths can not be done. This may be the reason why ceremonies are often considered as places where the ideal mythical world is trying to influence that power on ordinary life. The ritual should be ideal if the mythology raises the way the world is considered "final" (at the final level) and how it should be (in the empirical world) That will appear. In this way you will achieve this vision and become authentic to tie morality with everyday life
