Attitude is one of the deepest lessons I have learned on a trip in the Philippines. No matter where you are, wherever you are, you can feel the passion for Filipino work and the country. There are cute smiles on the face of Filipinos, such as sales representatives, taxi drivers, security guards, or strangers who pass by. Even if they are trapped in traffic jams or long queues, they are still satisfied with enjoying music and chatting with friends. One organization I have to mention is Gawad Kalinga of Quezon City's Tandan Sora. This organization will help build the house for the poor and help them legally own their own house. The house of Gawad Kalinga village is colorful like a theme park, the reason behind it is simple - they want to support poor families of beautiful color.
My trip to the Philippines In September 1989, when I was 11 years old, I came to Philippines on a short vacation. My father brought the whole family and Jimmy of my cousin. We stayed in the Philippines for 5 days. In these five days, I realized that there are many differences between Taiwan and the Philippines. The biggest difference is culture. People's language and behavior are also very lucky. The problem I first encountered was language problems. - It is best to borrow a taxi when going on vacation. Car rental includes car insurance. Do not put your car on vacation, as there is a risk of being stolen or damaged. Furthermore, in certain countries, traveling on the same side of the road you are used to when you are abroad is not permitted. Therefore, borrowing a car is a viable option.
So, while planning a trip to the Philippines at the end of 2014, I set an easy goal for myself. This was my first time to participate in Couchsurfing. Couch surfing is a platform that allows travelers to find local hosts anywhere in the world. This experience is like a homestay. However, in Couchsurfing you can find strangers. Wow, OK, I see a lot of red flags. Are you with a stranger? Are you absolutely crazy? When we are young, does our mother tell them not to talk to strangers? It goes without saying that I am with them. Yes, this is the first time that I have thought about this arrangement. To be frank, I think this is a crazy idea, I have to try it before I die. If there is something comfortable, I will travel with my good friends. Even if something bad happens, at least I have someone who shares the pain with it.
