My Service Learning Experiences

What kind of relationship did you establish between service learning experience and some topics discussed in the classroom (justice, love, rights, responsibility, relationships etc)? There are several links between my service learning experience and the topics mentioned in the class. Some contacts include human dignity, unity, support and fairness. My service learning is taking place at a special nursing home for the elderly, and the applicability of human dignity is very clear. It directly reflects the teachings of unity and justice.

This week I began my service learning experience! I will work with the "seminar serving family members" semester, family oriented sanctuary, but unfortunately I can not serve people serving people until 20th October. People who serve people have 99 emergency shelters and 10 2 bedroom support rooms. I participated in volunteer training. It gave me a better understanding of the services I offer people to people. Organizations are focused on providing stability to children to reduce the potential for adverse effects from this change. Volunteers can assist in various ways among people who serve people. People can help with the front desk, provide catering services in the building as a reading activist (reading for children in the building), and even adults in the computer room.

How are all these related to service learning? A better question is that it has nothing to do with service learning. I was asked by Joe Brooks of Community Work Academy to write a discussion about my service learning experience. When I began to concentrate on writing, I was thinking about all the service learning projects I did in the past 10 years and wanted to know about their common themes. I soon noticed that all the projects were successful, and the learning experience of my students and community members and / or other students working with them is useful and educational. This does not mean that there are no obstacles or difficult students, but even if you are not prepared for yourself, you can say that you have never had a bad experience in service learning projects. should
