My Path towards Mechanical Engineering

I am building from an early age. Whether it is LEGO or go-kart, I have built it. When I graduated from Umass Lowell, I wanted to be an engineer. I am currently working on mechanical engineering project at Umass Lowell. I decided to study mechanical engineering because I had a strong interest in watches. When I graduate, I would like to be a watchmaker or a clock designer. I would like to design watch movement, surface, case, strap. I know this is a difficult task, but if they are looking at adversity at first sight, nobody can do what they want.

I began studying Mechanical Engineering from the University (Nottingham), I like it very much, but I do not like it. At the end of that period, I met the field of medical engineering - basically to apply engineering principles to solve engineering and medical problems. This will allow me to apply my engineering skills in a more humanistic environment than I lacked during my mechanical engineering education. Therefore, I did not get a PhD in Strathclyde University. (Well, I still love Glasgow!)

Mechanical engineering Mechanical engineering brings basic principles of engineering such as mathematics and physics and applies it to the design and manufacture of mechanical products such as engines and heavy equipment. Mechanical engineering is the most extensive field so far and students can work in various occupational opportunities. Machine engineers work in various kinds of industries. Machine engineers always require a bachelor's degree. Many international students have decided to learn mechanics engineering because this degree is versatile and often overlaps with other engineering disciplines and gives outstanding career prospects.

Because the Doctor of Mechanical Engineering program has a great emphasis on research and theory, engineers usually focus on becoming an industry researcher or university professor by participating in this degree program. When a student has completed a degree (about 4 to 5 years), you can acquire the following skills. Machine equipment engineers can work in all industries and projects, from small devices to large structures. Based on their personal skills and preferences, they can choose from several degree programs to allow them to gain the subject matter expertise they are most interested in.
