My Motivation to Persure a Degree in Environmental Science

Firstly, the increase in population and industrialization leads to an increase in environmental problems, which requires other expertise to develop effective solutions. Currently, about 37% of the world's population can not use improved sanitation facilities, 12% of the world's population can not use improved drinking water sources, and 12% is undernourished. All these problems are effectively resolved by the correct environmental management strategy. Likewise, global warming and climate change are another global problem that requires urgent solutions.

This is my third year at Westchester Community College. I graduated from Associate undergraduate degree and decided to come back to acquire a bachelor's degree in environmental science I will complete my study at a four-year school. My parents and I moved from El Salvador to this country when I was 3 years old. Since then, our education has been a top priority. It was a big deal and there were many obstacles in the process, but the Westchester Community College made everything very simple and provided many opportunities for our students. Kathryn W. Davis Global Community Scholarship is a great blessing to me, enabling you to attend school and enabling you to participate in community service projects with people all over the world. I am also very enthusiastic about defending our planet. Therefore, I will work hard to acquire a degree and maintain and protect the planet and our poor resources.

Five years have passed since I got a master's degree in Computer Science as a software engineer and I decided to acquire my PhD in Health Information Informatics. I entered a prestigious school and worked as a research assistant for a professor of computer science. The professor also served as my consultant. I like my new jobs and courses and I work hard, but I am beginning to worry that my consultants and bosses will be attracted to me. He laughed and dismissed my concern and pointed out that the consultant is 20 years older than me, married and too kind to confuse with the students. A few weeks later, my consultant took me for lunch, brought me a small gift and acknowledged that he had dreamed of running away with me. I would like to know how I can go to school without this job.
