When the sun hits the skin it is a hot and hot day. A lush palm tree gave me a shade when I sat and saw the surroundings. Children who were dirty with bare feet laughed and played with uneven dirty clothes. When I saw them, their cheerful laughter smiled on my face and warmed my heart. It is my first visit to the Dominican Republic this time that I am traveling alone, apart from my parents. This is also my first mission trip, I like every minute of it. When I sat down and looked around the village slums and huts, I saw people are very kind.
