My life in the UK

I'd like to talk about life in the UK. I went to England several years ago. The most exciting experience was that I went to the host family in December to spend Christmas holidays. I went there by myself ... It took 1 hour or 2 hours to get to York in the train, and then stayed there for a week. This is my first time that I spent with a British family. They treat me like a family, take them to me, eat, play, and see all the different interesting cultures in the area. On Christmas day, they even bought me some gifts to celebrate Christmas.

When I returned to Oxford, here is the place I lived that year and I have the opportunity to teach at a Chinese school every Sunday. The children are about 14 years old, and I teach them Chinese. They are very cute, but they all speak in English. I spent a lot of time to encourage them to speak Cantonese.

During my studies in the UK, I lived with other students from different countries. They are very tasty, we cook like ourselves as a big family. Go everyday ... Every day, go to the supermarket and buy food, drinks and dessert. We cook every morning ... I am not good at cooking. Usually they are all in the oven. I tried to bake the cake before but failed, they all laughed at me. Every time I bake the cake, they do not taste it. We share the unit together - we share the kitchen, bathroom, but we have our own sink and bedroom. Not only for studying, life in the UK is very easy. We can explore more at school, do a variety of activities, and do other extracurricular activities.

Even after I returned to Hong Kong, I kept in touch with all British friends from various countries in Italy, Malaysia, Japan, the UK and other countries. Sometimes we even send e - mails to each other, sometimes they may come to Hong Kong to visit, we will meet again.

I am really enjoying the time spent in England. I hope that you will have the opportunity to explore more in other countries in the future.

What happens in the UK finally is irrelevant to me. I have my opinion, but they are like this. If the UK stands by, that is their decision. I have worked in the UK for a long time and paid taxes, and I would like to keep my investment back. As an EU citizen, I will live long; I am not happy to lose it.

My national health insurance covers all of my professional life in the UK. National Health Service (NHS) is a UK public health provider. The company was founded in 1948 and since then has become the cornerstone of UK health care. The NHS, which is primarily covered by taxes, provides universal health insurance for British and legally resident foreigners and overseas expatriates. Even after three years, I am receiving a physical therapy in the UK, Canada and the US because I am traveling. There are still some weaknesses in my right and right hands, and I will definitely defeat them after all. However, the quality of my life is much better than before the stroke. I found a world where money is not the most important. Friendship and nursing care are replaced

The thing that I want to say at the beginning is that I can not speak and have never taught diplomacy at school. I am satisfied with my life in the UK. I can afford my everyday meal, there is a roof on my head, I feel safe when I am walking down the street and have a world class NHS that takes care of me I am fortunate to be able to do. In fact, compared to other countries, we are living a luxurious life in the UK. This may be more fair. It is a pity that there are so many wise non-EU students today who spend a lot of money to study in the UK and have to leave the country after receiving education. Some of my friends could not move because they were concerned that they might lose their visa. Every time I apply for a visa, I feel that I am guilty.
