My Journey to Canada

I was born in a small valley in southern China in 1978. Before I moved to the Dominican Republic, my world was very narrow and limited. After getting married, my husband and I opened a small Chinese restaurant in the Dominican Republic. The weather at this place is very good, but the country is not stable. The crime rate here is so high that our son decided to leave after giving birth. This is a very difficult decision for us. My son likes the school here, he is very happy because he now has new sisters. We are very happy because Canada has given us a beautiful and peaceful life.
