My Interest in the Study of History

My interest in historical research dates back to my early days at the Queen Elizabeth II high school in Isle of Man. I am fascinated by the research of the Roman Empire in the first year. Thanks to passionate teaching, my interest grows deep and I am particularly interested in the interest in the GCSE history course during the Cold War era. My interest in contemporary political history has continued to the sixth form, especially in the fields of the collapse of communism in the Soviet Union and Eastern Europe and the field I'm trying to explore in my expanded article .

As a student at the University of Carleton's History Department, I am interested in Canadian cities and social history. While studying, there are people who are particularly interested in Canadian influence, industrialization and urbanization in the 19th century. So far my research has been of great success, but these successes belong to the traditional methods of academics, writing research and essays. So this is my first attempt at a digital history project, to explore how the methods and tools used by digital historians are applied to the themes of more traditional historical projects. In other words, my goal is to explore ways that can complement these methods, or to add layers to traditional projects I have dealt with in the past.
