What is your language learning story? My language learning stories relate to my interest in seeing the world and communicating with people from different countries and cultures. When I grew up, my favorite book was World Atlas. If you dream of a place to visit someday, the map and the name of the place will be displayed from that page. In the United States where I grew up, I used English as the language of primary education and used Greek as my family and church languages. There was a class in the church, and I learned to read and write in Greek at the age of 13. I studied French at a high school, met two exchange students from France, passed the preparation course for university entrance in a foreign language for the first time in high school.
When I finished the course, I did not know what I would like to do, but I knew that education is my main purpose. How can I use the knowledge I have collected over many years and inject it into my community? My pursuit of health is my passion. For me, health covers everything - exercise, mental health and nutrition can all go well. Among them, I know that nutrition is the way I contribute most to the community. Today I will use love and fear to achieve my goals. My southern roots are to love and nurture food and take care of people. By providing nutritious food to others, I feel great pleasure in cooking and making community. Because I am very afraid of the health of my family and community, I have fears because there are many people who eat daily food. Genuine food and erroneous "food"
I live a very healthy life today. My parents, the family doctor turned to a medical manager and flew from Seattle to Boston with my sister. I frequently visit my friends. My heart is to start returning to the beginning and work hard. Finally I returned to school with a wheelchair and started to walk again. My legs and hands are still numb. One month after I returned to school, I cooked spaghetti in an old pot. I lifted it and began to walk carefully to the sink, the bottom fell. Half gallons of hot water was poured directly on my feet, and molten metal solder held the bottle together. I remember seeing my feet overlooking because my legs turned red. I wonder if I am permanently wounded, watching the silver metal covered my skin and boiling. I can not feel one thing.
