My Feelings on English language

My feelings about English including grammar and literature have changed several times in my life. These changes occurred when I was influenced by my family and my teachers with different educational backgrounds. When I was young I do not know very little about English, but the guidance I received in my academic background has become a feeling for my English. In my early years my parents started reading for me.

Early in the day, I understand that I need to master English if I want to succeed in learning. However, it is not easy to master English. English is my third language. Arabic is the medium of instruction in my elementary school. Somalia is the only language used in domestic, regional media, and a wider society. When I entered high school, the English class in the afternoon gave me a lot of help. I started reading English grammar books to improve my English. But this is listening to my enthusiastic BBC World Service Radio. This is essential for me to improve my English. The BBC radio program has also greatly improved my view on my understanding of the world, my vision and many global issues. The English ability of a person affects the quality of writing and the effectiveness of communication with others. All of these are key to success.

Returning to the main question of the article, is English the best choice for a global language? In my opinion English is a good language that makes it possible to express my feelings better than using my native language (Korean). This may be because I am the third cultural child, but Korean is not a language that I can talk with in my daily life with my friends. This language knows to allow me to stand in the crowd and I feel that it is better than those who do not speak that language. This is a good choice as this is a language many people want to learn and need in the future, so I do not care much about my own language. If this is the feeling of all non-native speakers learning English, it means that there are no other languages in the world. If everyone loses their patriotism only when they care about their future, that country may even disappear.
