The main purpose of the "My Ideal School" contest is to help students understand how design and construction in Massachusetts' schools should support student participation and learning in the 21st century, It is to promote discussion. For this contest, all first graders who are currently enrolled in public schools in Massachusetts State can participate. This year, we received more than 2,500 lotteries and elected 11 regional winners including Grand Prix winners. On Wednesday May 30, 2018, we held a special awards ceremony at the Massachusetts State House of Representatives. Each prize winner was generously donated by People's United Bank and received a special donation given by Deborah Goldberg, National Accounting and MSBA Board President. At the ceremony, we also announced our grand prize winner whose work will be posted on the cover of MSBA's next annual report.
