My Family's Traditions of Celebration

The celebration tradition has played a big part in people's lives and has been among us since our memory. The traditional role will help remember the importance of the family and the ties it creates. It has existed for centuries, such as what is commonly called Christmas, Halloween, Thanksgiving and so on. My tradition was called O.D. E. M. and was made by my family in 2007. We are the first generation to start this tradition with our family and in the world. My tradition of O.D.E. M. started in 2007, but today's tradition has changed.

My family began a tradition to celebrate the St. Nicolas anniversary on December 6th. This German holiday is a memorial of the tradition of Saint Nicholas who showed great generosity to others (not myth or not). We celebrated with small chocolate coins and apple full of traditional Christmas stockings (to make money for stockings of poor girls who Nicholas can not afford to marry with dowry). We can take a while to think carefully about how privileged this attitude is, have rights and are completely scared? If the United States had been away for a long time without acknowledging the privileges of Christianity, please step back one step and watch the behavior of the church during the Christmas season. When you see this, a new world of self-perception begins, and you will begin to see how bad our behavior as a Christian is with the American brother (actually the world).

How does your family define "family"? Your family may be a family with mixed traditional and non-traditional features. That's the beauty of the family! In a world filled with confusion and concerns from time to time, the transformation of celebrating "families" must be happy. To me, it is wonderful to celebrate the miracles of international adoption families!

As a matter of fact, birthdays are not our family tradition, nor have we celebrated anyone's birthday at home. That is why I do not have pictures of my childhood birthday celebration, but in fact I have not celebrated my birthday yet at home.
