My Family: My Autistic Brother

When I was a child, I avoid conflict by keeping my own perspective. But when someone made a negative comment about autistic brothers, I could not protect myself, I lost my self restraint. I am struggling with what I have already experienced, and I think it cruel and disgraceful to disregard the daily reactions of autistic children. I share this story and help to disclose the necessity of dealing with others with the courtesy that we deserve. I have never been embarrassed about Bo Xilai or his situation.

Autsim is a serious life-long disorder. With appropriate training and support, you can actively change many autistic behaviors. My older brother, Jackson, is autistic. He is six years old this year. When I first discovered that he was autistic, my family was shocked. After my father had read some of the topics, we were able to get the help Jackson needed. Jackson has a social barrier. He is afraid of people and the new environment. He has changed, I do not like new people at all. He studied at a special school to solve the problem. After spending several years at school, he got a much better record. He began to change and even talked to people. He is still hesitating about newcomers and some changes, but he is getting better and better.

I have two autistic sons in my friend Allen, so I am interested in this problem. Allen said to me that he has a particularly deep relationship with one of his children, and John dogs with his family. But this does not apply to his brother Tim. These dogs scared Tim. "They are too unpredictable for him," she said. She was not surprised when I told Temple Grandin about a totally different relationship between boys and their dogs. According to her experience, about one-third of autistic patients are very good at animals, about one-third is terrible for animals, and third is the same as for other species.

Obviously, there are autistic brothers who are falling. When Ethan put my cosmetic and toothbrush in the toilet it was incredibly frustrating, and his constant scream and noise made him all the family crazy. But these things did not grow me, and now they usually do not (unless he touches my Stila Liquid Black Eyeliner). I also have some privileges. Now I live in my apartment, I always have a spare toothbrush box that is more convenient than you think.
