My Experience and Reflection on Teaching Kindergarten Social Studies

Educational Background - My class includes 25 kindergartens of 5 and 6 years old, 24 African American students and one white student. I have 11 girls and 14 boys in full-time kindergarten class, where I teach language art, mathematics, science, social studies and health. My class is a typical kindergarten group. They are very talkative groups "constantly" competing, sharing their thoughts, and "changing" to participate. My education began in the early days of high school, but my first formal educational experience began was not until this summer. I am a kindergarten teacher at a church summer school, but this is one of my best experiences in my life. I liked kids, especially from kindergarten to junior high school second graders, so I am very excited about my position. Of course, the first day was very nervous. Secondly, the idea of ​​seeing and teaching a group of noisy 5 year old children is overwhelming. Still, my first day of class exceeds my expectation.
