The alarm flashed around 6 o'clock and I woke up. To the bright red. The sun has not appeared yet. I was fed up with the excitement last night The last thing in my heart was to get out of bed and go to a mosque.
My family and I were eating Iftar (sunset dinner) at home to celebrate Ramadan's last night. When the vague feeling disappears, I am excited about Eid ul Fitr celebrating the end of Ramadan (I will fast for one month in August this year). From the feast last night my stomach was still full but as my mum and dad did every morning I still had a date in the morning. When the sun climbed the horizon and began to shine through the window, all my family was almost ready. Everyone is wearing our new refreshing Eid clothing, we will head for a car to start our mosque tour
In the morning of Eid al-Fitr, most Muslims go to the mosque for the prayers of Eid al-Fitr. Like millions of Muslims all over the world, when we started to pray, I stood by my cousin and my cousin. At 10 a.m. I went to the mosque and took breakfast at a new Horizon School in a Muslim school in Los Angeles. Fragrance of fresh Falafel, beet pickles, delicious hams, toast of pistapan welcomes all Muslims as they enter school. Falafel is my favorite food for breakfast, and it will be so in the future - mainly because I love fried foods! I quickly picked up two falafels and some pickles, went to the round table and began digging when I talked to all the old friends. A few hours later I will make a large, rich and open Eid al-Fitr breakfast for an exclusive Ethiopian family lunch that was closed.
Without my family Eid al-Fitr is not a celebration. I always try to spend time with them on this special day. This seems to be a common theme for food during the holiday season, so we normally have lunch at a restaurant in the Middle East. For my (Extreme) Great Ethiopian family to enjoy Eid al-Fitr, it is best to laugh, eat, and enjoy each others company. We have been doing this for 16 years! I am full of stomach, my legs hurt, I am home and have a tired face; it is no wonder that we often take a nap during the day. This is my crazy and cumbersome Eid al-Fitr. I am always looking forward to the end of Ramadan.
At the end of Eid al-Fitr, Eid ul-Fitr is a festival celebrating Muslims. Looking at the new moon after Ramadan, the next day is Eid ul - Fitr. After Eid al-Fitr's prayers, the Muslims were shining with each other. Eid al-Fitr lasts for 3 days. During this festival, children receive gifts and adidas in the form of adult money. Enjoy, forgive, and party. During this festival, Muslims will wear clean new clothes. People go to relatives to see each other. They will also buy gifts for each other. It happened on the first day of Shawwal 's moon. This is a gift from Allah to Ramadan to his people. That is why Char Charity deserves it. This is one of the months when wars are banned in a particular month. In this sacred moon, Muslims must give Zakat's money. People need to celebrate this by praying at special prayers and banquets. Ramadan is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar and Shawwal is the tenth month.
Muslim Syrian Americans celebrate the three major Muslim festivals: Ramadan, Eid Alfit (Lesser Bairam) and Eid Alfit (Great White). Ramadan is the ninth month of Muslim, during which Muslims go from dawn to sunset; Muslims take self-discipline to clean themselves. After the end of Ramadan, Muslims celebrate Eid al-Fitr when Muslims break fast and ecstasy. Muslims celebrate Eid al-Fitr (meaning the sacrifice festival), a festival held together with the annual pilgrimage to Mecca 70 days after the end of the Muslim years.
There is always discussion on whether the Islamic festival Eid al-Fitr (Suikerfeest in Dutch) should be a holiday. It is opposed by right-wing political parties such as PVV and SGP. Currently, Eid ul-Fitr is not an official citizen's holiday, but we usually prove that a Muslim teacher is on holiday a day. People who oppose this claim say there is enough public holidays. In any case, the school can provide an additional rest day.
