My Eid ul Fitr Holiday

The alarm flashed around 6 o'clock and I woke up. To the bright red. The sun has not appeared yet. I was fed up with the excitement last night The last thing in my heart was to get out of bed and go to a mosque.

My family and I were eating Iftar (sunset dinner) at home to celebrate Ramadan's last night. When the vague feeling disappears, I am excited about Eid ul Fitr celebrating the end of Ramadan (I will fast for one month in August this year). From the feast last night my stomach was still full but as my mum and dad did every morning I still had a date in the morning. When the sun climbed the horizon and began to shine through the window, all my family was almost ready. Everyone is wearing our new refreshing Eid clothing, we will head for a car to start our mosque tour

In the morning of Eid al-Fitr, most Muslims go to the mosque for the prayers of Eid al-Fitr. Like millions of Muslims all over the world, when we started to pray, I stood by my cousin and my cousin. Without my family Eid al-Fitr is not a celebration. I always try to spend time with them on this special day. This seems to be a common theme for food during the holiday season, so we normally have lunch at a restaurant in the Middle East. For my (Extreme) Great Ethiopian family to enjoy Eid al-Fitr, it is best to laugh, eat, and enjoy each others company. We have been doing this for 16 years! I am full of stomach, my legs hurt, I am home and have a tired face; it is no wonder that we often take a nap during the day. This is my crazy and cumbersome Eid al-Fitr. I am always looking forward to the end of Ramadan.

At the end of Eid al-Fitr, Eid ul-Fitr is a festival celebrating Muslims. Looking at the new moon after Ramadan, the next day is Eid ul - Fitr.
