My wish to study English at university is firmly rooted in my interest in language selection. The language is very diverse and infinite, which defines us as individuals and has the power to greatly influence our social identity. In one word I can create a thousand thoughts and emotions; I will continue my journey and how this change will occur in different circumstances, during different periods, and between different gender I would like to discover. While studying, I learned to dig into how the meaning of the language we use and the adaptability produce different effects.
this is me. I am Jack. Currently I am 19 years old college student, I am learning English and creation. I was at Christchurch College in Canterbury for two years. So I spent my life. I was born in a small village called Sawbridge Worth in Hertfordshire Province. If you have never heard of it, do not feel bad, nobody has it. Hence my transition from my hometown to Canterbury is exciting for me. I think that I am a musician. I have played the drum for nearly 9 years, but I never get old, I love it. Especially when listening to new music, I was always a furious drummer. I like to beat this song, learn it, dissect it, and turn it into mine. So, I enjoyed various types and learned to do them
I have been reading all the time and because of the pleasure of my English exhibition and my writing at the Woodbridge school, I wanted to read English at university. But when I studied World War I poetry for British literature GCSE, I learned that I was most interested in the writer's era and situation. History and politics have deeply influenced my view. Impact From the time I was a child, the concrete history I found in the pictures of the castle, museum, and family attracted my imagination. When I grew up, my interest in the past introduced me the political tradition and thought of my community, and I also absorbed political studies.
My academic background is economics at Delta State University. It should not be the case, it is. I choose to study human behavior from various perspectives. I always take a walk in the corridor of the department of English and literature research. It does not matter whether it is science or not. I wrote a short story for my college literary magazine. It may be a highlight of my year, and the editor mentioned that it is the only non-literary research student contributor. During Youth Company Service Year, I continue teaching literature in English.
