My Computer Science Graduate Program at ASU

Since my knowledge is not confined to any specific topic, my four year graduate research has exposed me to many sub-disciplines of computer science. But the graduate course in Computer Science will help me to improve my knowledge of areas of particular interest to me. My main interest lies in the field of data mining and machine learning. I think that pursuing a graduate program at XYZ University will be an ideal step to achieve my career's desire.

In August 2014, I entered the computer science online master program (OMSCS) at Georgia Institute of Technology. If all goes well, I will graduate from the end of the term. From this perspective, I think it is a good time to share some of my thoughts and experiences with the plan, and this is still very fresh in my mind. My undergraduate course is geophysics, not computer science. However, I worked in software (including college internship) through my career. As a developer of geophysical software, I quickly noticed that it is good for my career to build a solid foundation for some of the basic computer science concepts and some of the more advanced topics It was.

I taught myself the high school course, and I was disappointed with my limited computer science course at high school. During college, I taught many students computer science (CS) as a bachelor's degree in seventh term, organized and executed examples of four high-level programming contests ** Total 1000 or more participants. I spent a lot of time interacting with students and teachers in CS of junior high school and high school. About 40% of teachers said that the biggest challenge facing computer science education is the support and lack of interest of school staff. A further 35% said students' interest and lack of registration are the biggest challenges. Lack of rapidly changing technology and curriculum resources is considered the biggest challenge, with 30.5% and 23.5% of teachers, respectively.
