My Antonia Essay - Life of the Immigrants

My antonian immigrant, William Cather's life, showed a lot of information about "the old wild West" and the expansion of the United States. In my Antonia, Jim Baden tells the story of his childhood, the people of his life, and the struggle the environment around him and his environment faced during this period. At the age of 10, Jim Baden grew up in the prairie of Nebraska after his parents died. When he arrived at his new house, he was introduced to Simmidas, a family of Bohemian immigrated to the United States.

"My Antonia" reminds me of Jim Baden's life and talks about the fascinating story of Simeredus, with a particular focus on girls working in the field like people, Antonia. Antonia Shemerda is a Bohemian immigrant in the Great Plains in the United States and embodies the classic American myths of the century ago. She took the family to the meadow of Nebraska and made better lives for himself on untouched land around thousands of times. In the introduction, Jim Baden 's role claimed that he recorded in his memory of Antonia and their entire adventure in childhood almost easily in Nebraska. Therefore, the reader quickly understands that the story is not one of the closely woven plots. It also confirms that the reader is remembering the individual while listening to the story, and certainly will be stained by Jim's memory, attitude and time. For Jim, she embodies the clear, fearless human soul.

My Antonia is Willa Cather. A story of friends, love, immigrants, most important changes. My whole book is about change. Antonia changed from Bohemian illiterate children to a smart woman of America. Antonia lives quite well in Bohemia but lives in poor in the United States. Antonia has transformed from an innocent girl to a diligent teenager. Then, there is a burden on Jim, you can call it a best friend of Antonia, or you can go ahead and call them Soulmate. They moved together to Nebraska, and they still keep friends forever. They changed their way of life, even changed towns, occupations, hobbies, but they were still friends in their lives. Some of Jim's changes involve moving from his parents Virginia to Black Hawk, Nebraska and his grandparents, and his other changes are moving from one country to another. You can say that this whole book is about change.
