Discrimination, prejudice and racial discrimination are terms that are too similar and come across many cultures. A lot of people are experiencing these different terms, and unfortunately some people who belong to a culture of a certain ethnic group experience these terms more frequently than others. Following the September 11 attack, Muslim culture became the main target of discrimination and other actions. The media, especially women and their media on clothing, caused distorted views on this culture. Women in this culture have been claimed to be repressed and forced to wear veils and scarves, but their views and opinions are not taken into account in these statements.

After terrorism occurred in New York on September 11, 2001 (September 11, 2001), in the west there was political rhetoric and climate, mainly "war with terror". For Muslims living in the West, 9/11 is important both socially and politically. On a global scale, people tend to link terrorist attacks and Islam. However, this relationship can be traced back to the previous episode, for example the Iranian and American crisis of 1979. Al Jazeera, Washington Post, BBC, and Guardian, following the terrorist atrocities that occurred in Paris on 13th November 2015, showed that the number of hate crimes against Muslim infected people, especially in France and the UK suddenly increased . According to these media articles, most of the victims are 'visible' Muslim women, especially women wearing veil.

From 11 November to 9 November 2005, we analyzed American and international newspaper articles on Arab and Muslim women, learned how to represent women wearing veils in the West media I will. Rarely do journalists speak, transcend stereotypes, understand Arab women. Women in the news often do not get tired of Arab women and Muslim women in real life, regardless of whether it is oppressed, sacrificed, superwoman or not. The reader was unable to accurately and accurately represent the various personality, living and viewpoints of these women. (Sakr, 2004)
