In the beginning of the eighteenth century phonograph was used to raise the effect of patient sleep, surgery and anesthesia in the hospital (Barrera et al., 2002, p. 379). People in the 19th century wanted to use the sound of music to alleviate the pain. In the 1980's the use of music therapy was recorded, but it did not prove the validity (Barrera et al., 2002, p. 379). Furthermore, Munro et al.
