Music plays an important role in our daily life and is integrated into social structure. We listen to music through stereo headphones, high end speakers, alone, at a company, at a dance club, at home, or after getting up and sleeping. As we travel, exercise, shop, work and relax, we also move music together. This ubiquitous music casts some doubts: How does music influence our lives? What is the relationship between the role, function and status of music in society and the community in which we live? How will music influence music and affect social, political, economic, technical and other developments? Do these problems cause you? How does music influence identity and how does identity influence music? Is music simply an expression of personal taste, or is it about this relationship? In this module we discuss and explore the relationship between music and identity. This includes (1) how music influences individual identity, (2) how music influences group identity, (3) how social structure influences music and identity It will do by explaining whether it affects.
You can use music as an identification tag. Music may be a sign of a particular identity. In particular, this applies to aggregate group IDs. Tag specific groups with their own identity by listening to certain types of music such as hard rock, hip hop, "early music". In many of these cases, music has created even the group's identity, possibly subculture, that did not exist before music (Hebdige 1979). But the truth is the opposite. Jazz, blues, and soul are not only related to African Americans, but also African Americans have developed and developed styles, and they also regard music as "their" (Gilroy 1991 , Monson 1999). This case is similar to the flamenco case, which is a strong sign of the Spanish Romans (Manuel 1989). In both cases, the national identity exists before the music. Why is the music function as good as a different identity logo? Do I need to publicly inform this identity as a decryption signal by others in order to make music an intensive person? There are two answers. First, music is effective as a purely personal level of identity enhancer. We do not need to tell our personal identities and group relationships to our sleeves. Secondly, this is because music influences the audience emotionally, and this influence not only makes it a symbol of identity but also as a psychological self-purpose as mentioned at the beginning.
