Multimedia is a technology called multimedia. As a revolution, it is the sum of many revolution: the visual revolution of television, the communication revolution combining the press power of the printing press and the interactive power of the computer. Multimedia is a blend of these different occupations to form a new technical approach to sharing information and ideas, once thought to be independent of each other. How does society look in an evolving interactive multimedia technology organization?
I have seen the words "multimedia novel" and "multimedia story." Let's start with the actual definition of multimedia novel. The term multimedia novel refers to a fictitious writing that includes more than simply written text. This is usually some form of visual or audio. According to the nature of these kinds of works, multimedia novels tend to be shorter. Long works of this form are often serialized. The most popular type of multimedia novel is a picture book. A cute story is in the form of this picture book, which makes it the largest multimedia stories collection.
Multimedia is a combination of computer and video (Rosch, 1996) or multimedia is usually a combination of three elements: sound image and text (McMormic, 1996) or multimedia is a combination of at least two media inputs or output images (headscarf et al. 2002) or Multimedia is a tool for creating dynamic and interactive presentations combining text, graphics, animation, audio and video, and image video (Robin and Linda, 2001). At the same time, according to Ariyus Dony (2009), multimedia derived two words, multimedia and media. Multi means many conventional and predefined media tools for exchanging specific forms of communication, equipment, tools, newspapers, magazines, or television. When associated with computer processing, multimedia is viewed as a tool for displaying text, images, graphics, sounds, music, etc.
Multimedia image The combination of concepts of multimedia presentation is common in today's social media. Our students regularly use multimedia such as video, meme, comic, GIF and so on. Take advantage of the learning principles of UDL and multimedia, and interact with students based on their interests? Please explain the concept using GIF or write and explain the hint using memo prompt. Students can also create their own multimedia as means to express knowledge using free tools such as Meme Generator, Bitmoji, Giphy. Our "digital native" students often interact with technology, but this does not mean automatically using these techniques to enhance learning (Thompson, 2013).
