MMX MMX or multimedia extensions are the latest technology on Intel's computer processor chip and are currently available for high quality medium price computer systems. In this article I will explain technology and what it provides to users and compare three high quality system packages from three industry leading manufacturers. The systems described here are all newer Intel Pentium 200 MHz-MMX processors with Gateway 2000 P55C-200 FPC, Packard Bell NEC Platinum 2240, and Compaq Presario 4784.

The Aerospace Exploration Agency is reviewing the new mission spacecraft mission for the Mars system, the Phobos return mission called MMX (Martian Moons Explorer). The main aim of MMX, first announced on June 9, 2015, is to determine the origin of Mars satellites. In addition to collecting samples from Phobos, MMX will remotely monitor Deimos and observe Martian atmosphere. As of January 2016, MMX will be released in FY 2022. On February 22, 2006, ISAS again tested the solar sail as a secondary payload for the Akari (ASTRO - F) mission. But solar sails are not completely deployed. On September 23, 2006, ISAS again tested the solar sail as a secondary payload for the launch of SOLAR - B, but contact with the detector was lost. IKAROS solar sail was launched on May 21, 2010. Solar sails were successfully deployed. The goal is to carry out a solar sail mission to Jupiter after 2020.

Using MMX and SSE will greatly improve performance. I am good at vector operation (applied). There are such things in some programming languages, Intel recently announced the Javascript language extension for SIMD. When this happens we are very excited. We checked the nightly build of Firefox and found some implementations of this technique. Unfortunately, as a result of repeated tests, I concluded that SIMD is still premature. It's too late for today's implementation

All Pentium II processors have Level 1 and Level 2 cache controllers integrated with Multimedia Extension (MMX). Other features include dynamic execution and a dual independent bus architecture with independent 64-bit system and cache bus. Pentium II is a superscalar CPU with about 5 million transistors. The first Pentium II was created to be codenamed Klamath. They are manufactured in a 0.35 micron process and support clock rates of 233, 266, 300, 333 MHz at a bus speed of 66 MHz. The second-generation Pentium II, the codename of Deschutes, is manufactured in a 0.25 micron process with support speeds of 350, 400, 450 MHz and a bus speed of 100 MHz.
