MMX MMX or multimedia extensions are the latest technology on Intel's computer processor chip and are currently available for high quality medium price computer systems. In this article I will explain technology and what it provides to users and compare three high quality system packages from three industry leading manufacturers. The systems described here are all newer Intel Pentium 200 MHz-MMX processors with Gateway 2000 P55C-200 FPC, Packard Bell NEC Platinum 2240, and Compaq Presario 4784.
