Motherhood: Addicted Mothers

Method In this study, we studied maternity from the perspective of virtually addictive mother. The survey was conducted in the hospital ward of the Norwegian drug abuse clinic. A qualitative approach is the best approach (Kvale, 2002) to gain new insights into the world of participants' lives. Data were collected using separate semistructured detailed interviews to obtain a detailed description. Since a rough explanation is an explanation of human behavior in that context, behavior becomes meaningful from the outsider's point of view as well.
