Question: Why does not God allow Moses to enter Canaan's promised land with the Israelites?
Answer: Since departing, Israelis complained and complained about many things, including leaders like Moses, complaining. After a while leaving the Egyptian slaves, they desperately needed water. They asked God, not seeking faith, but looking to the human leaders complaining about Moses and Aaron. They complained that they were taken to the wilderness, so they thought that they and all they had had no longer existed.
Why do you (Moses) took us from Egypt to this tragic place and nothing grew? . . . There is no drinking water! (Number 20: 5)
What is the solution to the absence of water problems in the desert wilderness, people, cattle etc? God told Moses and Aaron that they should attack Aaron's staff and rocks before they leave the whole Egyptian population. After that, water will come from rocks and calm people's desires (No. 20)
Moses and Aaron did in much the same way as God told them, but they were so angry with people that they seem to depend on their own power to provide water was. The Bible told them, "Listen now, you are rebellious, do we have to bring water from this stone to you?" (Numbers 20:10)
In verse 12 it is undoubted that it was God who promised to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob why the two leaders he chose did not enter the land of milk and honey .
"At that time the Lord said to Moses and Aaron," Because you do not believe me, you must see me with the eyes of the Israelites (my name is holy), in the place I gave Do not gather, they are saying. "(Numbers 20: 12)
As God said in verses 12 and 24, Aaron died for the rebellion of Meriba meteorite. He died in Hall Hill (20: 25 - 28), which is said to be just south of Jerusalem. He allowed Moses to see the wide panorama of the land heritage that swore to give servants of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob before the death of Mount Nebo (Deuteronomy 34: 4-5).
After Moses dies, his body has been buried forever in a special place, nobody can find it. It is noteworthy to see the promise of God to the land of Israel as a heritage because it is worth noting that the elevation of Mount Nebo is higher than the elevation of Mount Hall.
The tomb of Moses represented the death of the law. Moses could not enter the promised land so that legalism could not incorporate the people of God into God's promise. "Because the law is not perfect, on the other hand, there is better hope" (Hebrews 7:19). At the entrance to the promised land, we found the tomb of Moses; legalism can not enter the inheritance of Christ. Secondly, there is a grave of Jordan. It represents our identity with our Christ and our own death. When Israel crossed the Jordan, the water became a symbolic death and burial. This is a very clear moment. For a while the Israelites were in the wilderness, and in a few minutes they were in the promised land. Likewise, there is a moment in our life when we are thinking that we are really dying and living Christ. Passage in Jordan requires a pastor standing in the middle of the river to help people.
Under the guidance of Moses, the majority of eastern Jordan land was conquered and distributed to the tribe of Leuven and Gado and half of Minasi. But Moses was not allowed to lead the Israelites to Canaan, the promised land. Because he did not obey God while wandering in the desert. His regular meeting with God has accomplished him in a way that Israelis in his colleagues can find. When he quits the interview with the Almighty, his face is always shining. Moses of 120 years old died in Moab and was buried across from Belper.
Looking at the life of Moses, it is easy to think that the full meaning of the Israeli leadership leadership to leave Egypt is to take them to the land promised by God. Of course, this is part of it. But this is a fact. Moses never entered the promised land. He does not obey God and he is not allowed to enter this land. He can see the land but can not enter. One night before Jesus died, he was praying, and two people came to comfort him. We call it a deformation - it means capricious - this is a very pleasant moment for Jesus. He deformed his earthly body and met Moses and Elijah. This is wonderful as Moses and Elijah have died for hundreds of years.
