Moodle Learning Management System

Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushalya Yojana (DDU - GKY) is a technology and resettlement program of Indian Rural Development Department (MoRD). DDU-GKY was born from the "Special Projects" component of the Aajeevika Skills program and Swarnjayanti Gram Swarozgar Yojana (SGSY). The focus of the program is to respond to career desires of young people in rural areas and to improve their wage employment skills.

The implementation of DDU-GKY includes provincial support, National Rural Development Institute, Panchayati Radi (NIRD and PR), other technical support organizations and project implementation agencies (PIAs).

When implementing the program, MoRD notified guidelines and standard operating procedures (SOP). All project staff under DDU - GKY must be trained, evaluated and certified with standard operating procedures. The e-learning portal is designed to promote self-study and certification of SOP

Both companies use an open source system to provide customers with hosting, support, consulting services and products such as Moodle Learning Management System (LMS) and Mahara Electronic Portfolio products. For two reasons, this change is the result of a broader perspective on our vision and mission over the past few years. Instead of focusing on the LMS market only, we focus on the entire life cycle of the students of the educational institutions that we offer. A wider perspective has urged us to add supplemental platforms like Blackboard Collaborate, Blackboard Mobile and Blackboard Analytics.
