Montessori Celebration of Life (Birthday Celebration)

I want to cherish and cherish it on a special day when everyone was born. Montessori Life Celebration is a nice way to celebrate your child's birthday at school.

Children love listening to the journey from birth to present. They want to listen to stories, see pictures, and to have good memories. I want to know how much they take care of and how good our lives and the world are. Montessori Life Celebration is the perfect way to complete this process.

Many schools in Montessori use some form of sun, moon, candle, globe to show the passage of time from birthday to birthday celebration and child's growth.

In preparation for Montessori Life Celebration, parents of a birthday child are asked to bring a picture of the child's life every year and write a short life story to suit the picture. There is a sample of downloadable life stories.

All the children drew a big circle around the sun on the floor. The birthday child stands next to the birth date label. The parent or teacher wears a candle to indicate the moment the child is born. Then they began to read the story of life till one year old. At this point, birthday kids start to walk (slowly) around the sun, and the earth is in their hands - they stop when they reach their birth month again.
